Asaf Avidan is an Israeli singer-songwriter and musician born in Jerusalem in 1980. He is the lead singer of the folk rock band Asaf Avidan & the Mojos and has released four solo albums. He is best known for his hit single "One Day / Reckoning Song" which was a huge success in Europe in 2012.
Musical Career:
Avidan began his career in 2006 with the release of his debut album, The Reckoning. The album was an immediate success and was certified gold in Israel. He then went on to form the folk rock band Asaf Avidan & the Mojos in 2008. The band released two albums, Through the Gale and Poor Boy / Lucky Man, and toured extensively in Europe and the US. In 2012, Avidan released his third solo album, Different Pulses, which spawned the hit single "One Day / Reckoning Song". The single was a huge success in Europe, reaching the top 10 in several countries.
