Burna Boy is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper who hails from Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria. He was born on the 2nd of July 1991 to a Nigerian mother and a Jamaican father. He is considered one of the most influential artists in the Afrobeats genre, and is known for his unique blend of Afrobeats, hip hop, reggae, dancehall, and R&B.

Musical Career

Burna Boy began his music career in 2010 with his debut mixtape, “Burn Identity”. He released his debut album, “L.I.F.E”, in 2011, and his second album, “On a Spaceship”, in 2015.
