Biography
Guns N' Roses is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1985. The band's classic lineup consisted of vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Steven Adler. The band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling bands of all time.
Musical Career
Guns N' Roses released their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, in 1987. The album became a massive success, selling over 30 million copies worldwide. It spawned the hit singles "Welcome to the Jungle," "Sweet Child o' Mine," and "Paradise City." The band followed up with the albums G N' R Lies, Use Your Illusion I and II, and The Spaghetti Incident? in the early 1990s.
