Biography
Justin Bieber is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born on March 1, 1994, in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Bieber's mother, Patricia Mallette, was 18 years old when she gave birth to him. His father, Jeremy Bieber, was never part of his life. Bieber was raised solely by his mother.
Musical Career
At the age of 12, Bieber began posting videos of himself on YouTube singing covers of popular songs. He quickly gained a following and was soon discovered by Scooter Braun, who became his manager. In 2009, Bieber released his debut single, "One Time," which was a hit in Canada and the United States. He followed it up with the release of his debut studio album, My World, in November 2009. Bieber has since released five studio albums, with his most recent being Purpose, which was released in 2015.
Influences and Musical Style
Bieber is heavily influenced by R&B and pop music. He has cited Michael Jackson, Usher, and Justin Timberlake as some of his biggest influences. Bieber's music is often described as a mix of teen pop, R&B, and dance-pop.
