Biography
Linkin Park is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California, formed in 1996. The band's current lineup comprises vocalist/rhythm guitarist Mike Shinoda, lead guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, DJ/keyboardist Joe Hahn, and drummer Rob Bourdon, all of whom are founding members.
Linkin Park is one of the most successful and influential rock bands of the 21st century, selling more than 70 million albums worldwide and winning two Grammy Awards.
Musical Career
Linkin Park's debut album, Hybrid Theory, was released in 2000 and was a massive success, selling more than 10 million copies in the United States alone. The album featured the hit singles "In the End" and "Crawling", which helped the band gain mainstream success. The band followed up with the 2003 album Meteora, which was another success, selling more than 8 million copies worldwide. The album featured the hit singles "Numb" and "Somewhere I Belong".
The band has continued to release successful albums, including Minutes to Midnight (2007), A Thousand Suns (2010), Living Things (2012), The Hunting Party (2014), and One More Light (2017).
