Biography
Martin Garrix is a Dutch DJ, record producer, and musician. He was born on May 14, 1996 in Amstelveen, Netherlands. He first gained recognition in 2012 with the release of his single "Animals". His single "In the Name of Love" with Bebe Rexha in 2016 reached the top 10 in many countries, including the US. He has since released several successful singles, such as "Scared to Be Lonely", "There for You", and "Ocean".
Musical Career
Garrix began producing music at the age of 12. In 2013, he signed a record deal with Spinnin' Records. His first single, "Animals", was released in 2013 and quickly became a commercial success, topping the charts in the Netherlands and Belgium. He has since released several successful singles, including "In the Name of Love" with Bebe Rexha, "Scared to Be Lonely" with Dua Lipa, and "Ocean" with Khalid. He has also collaborated with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, and The Chainsmokers.
