P!nk (born Alecia Beth Moore) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. She was born on September 8, 1979 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She rose to fame in 2000 with her debut single “There You Go”. P!nk has released seven studio albums, sold over 40 million albums worldwide, and has won three Grammy Awards. She is known for her powerful vocals and her edgy, punk-pop style.
Musical Career
P!nk began her music career in 2000 with the release of her debut album, Can't Take Me Home. The album was a commercial success, selling over 6 million copies worldwide. It spawned the hit singles “There You Go”, “Most Girls”, and “You Make Me Sick”. P!nk followed up her debut album with the 2001 album, Missundaztood.
