Sabrina Carpenter is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, on May 11, 1999. She is best known for her roles as Maya Hart in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World and as Jenny Parker in the Disney Channel original movie Adventures in Babysitting.
Musical Career
Carpenter began her music career in 2011 by posting cover songs on YouTube. In 2014, she released her debut EP, Can't Blame a Girl for Trying. The EP peaked at number 43 on the US Billboard 200 chart. She followed up with her debut studio album, Eyes Wide Open, in 2015. The album peaked at number 40 on the US Billboard 200 chart and was certified gold by the RIAA. In 2016, she released her second studio album, Evolution, which peaked at number 24 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
In 2018, Carpenter released her third studio album, Singular: Act I. The album peaked at number 14 on the US Billboard 200 chart and was certified gold by the RIAA. She released her fourth studio album, Singular: Act II, in 2019. The album peaked at number 11 on the US Billboard 200 chart and was certified gold by the RIAA.
