Biography
Sam Smith is an English singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2014 with the release of his debut studio album, In the Lonely Hour. Smith was born in London, England on May 19, 1992. He began singing at a young age and was featured on the Disclosure track "Latch" in 2012. He has since become one of the most successful British artists of his generation, winning multiple Grammy Awards and releasing two chart-topping albums.

Smith's debut single, "Money on My Mind," was released in February 2014 and quickly became a hit in the UK.
