Sarah McCoy is an American folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Born in rural Virginia, McCoy began playing music at a young age, learning guitar and banjo from her father. She began playing in local bands and writing her own songs before she was out of high school.
Musical Career:
McCoy released her debut album, The West Was Burning, in 2007. The album received critical acclaim and earned her a nomination for Best New Artist at the Americana Music Awards. She has since released four more albums, including her most recent, Blood Siren, in 2019. She has toured extensively throughout the US and Europe, playing festivals and headlining her own shows.
