About Sarah McCoy

Sarah McCoy is an American folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Born in rural Virginia, McCoy began playing music at a young age, learning guitar and banjo from her father. She began playing in local bands and writing her own songs before she was out of high school.

Musical Career:
McCoy released her debut album, The West Was Burning, in 2007. The album received critical acclaim and earned her a nomination for Best New Artist at the Americana Music Awards.
