Biography:
Solána Imani Rowe, better known by her stage name SZA, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. She was born on November 8, 1990 in St. Louis, Missouri. Her mother is a Christian and her father is a Muslim. She is the youngest of five children. She began writing songs at the age of 16 and eventually moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in music.
Musical Career:
SZA's debut EP, See.SZA.Run, was released in 2012. She then signed with the independent label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) and released her second EP, S, in 2013. She released her debut studio album, Ctrl, in 2017. The album was met with critical acclaim and earned her five Grammy nominations. Her second album, 2019's "TDE: The Album", was released to positive reviews.

SZA's music has been described as alternative R&B and neo-soul, with influences from various genres including hip hop, soul, jazz, and electronic music. She has cited Erykah Badu, Björk, Lauryn Hill, and Aaliyah as major influences on her musical style.
