TV Girl is an American indie pop duo from San Diego, California, formed in 2011. The group consists of Brad Petering and Jason Wyman. They are known for their lo-fi production style and their sample-heavy music, which often incorporates samples from classic films and television shows.
Musical Career
TV Girl began producing their music in 2011, releasing their debut album, French Exit, in 2012. The album received critical acclaim, and was praised for its unique blend of lo-fi production and sample-heavy sound. Since then, TV Girl has released a number of EPs and singles, as well as their second full-length album, Who Really Cares, in 2014. Theyhave also collaborated with a number of other artists, including Chrome Sparks, The Drums, and The Range.
